A-Leen 8 is bio-based version of Caprylyl Glycol. It provides the opportunity to use this well-known multifunctional ingredient also in natural cosmetics.
A-Leen 8 is produced by means of “green chemistry” starting from sustainably sourced from natural oils. A-Leen 8 is COSMOS and NATRUE approved.
A-Leen 8 is a hair and skin conditioning agent with emollient and moisturizing properties. Through its hydrophilic moieties, it helps retain water in the upper layers of the skin. Thanks to its fatty alkyl chain, it contributes to a good skin feel.
A-Leen 8 also presents excellent pH-independent antimicrobial properties. It can either act as sole procteting agent or as a preservative booster.
A-Leen 8 is recommended for skin care, toiletries and make-up applications.
