Hexiol

Hexiol is a multifunctional ingredient that enhances product protection while acting as a solvent, humectant and emollient. Thanks to its exceptional mildness, Hexiol is suitable for all skin types. It also reduces the required concentration of preservatives by boosting their antimicrobial activity.

Hexiol can be used as an efficient co-solubilizer for lipophilic active ingredients (e.g. perfumes) in aqueous solutions. Using Hexiol reduces the need for conventional solubilizers, thereby enhancing mildness and skin feel.

In colour cosmetics, Hexiol disperses pigments and improves coverage.
