E-Leen Green A

E-Leen Green A is a synergistic combination of biobased Pentylene Glycol and Phenylpropanol. This mixture provides a cost-effective way to create completely self-preserving cosmetic products.

Both components of E-Leen Green A are produced using “green chemistry” and thus meet the requirements of the natural cosmetics standards COSMOS and Natrue.

E-Leen Green A has skin-moisturizing, skin-conditioning, and mildly perfuming properties. Its antimicrobial effect is largely independent of the pH value.

E-Leen Green A is water-soluble when combined with surfactants and solubilizers, which enables the creation of clear aqueous formulations. In combination with Pentylene Glycol, the lipophilic component Phenylpropanol remains predominantly in the water phase of emulsions.

This contributes significantly to the broad antimicrobial effect of E-Leen Green A.
