E-Leen GC 8

E-Leen GC 8 is a mild, easy-to-use skin humectant that creates self-preserving cosmetics.  It is ideal for sensitive skin thanks to its component, Glyceryl Caprylate/Caprate, a mild refatting agent derived from vegetable oil.  E-Leen GC 8 is 100% biobased and COSMOS- and NATRUE-approved. This fragrance-free solution is also ideal for low-odor products.

E-Leen GC 8 exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, particularly against yeasts and bacteria.  Due to its non-ionic components, it exhibits an antimicrobial effect up to pH 7. It is particularly suitable for O/W emulsions.

E-Leen GC 8 is a stable liquid which can be used in hot and cold processes. It is a synergistic combination of three components:

Caprylyl Glycol of 100% vegetal origin is well known for its skin humectant and antimicrobial boosting effect.

Glyceryl Caprylate/Caprate is a biobased humectant and re-fatting agent that has antibacterial properties. It is exceptionally mild to the skin and non-irritating to the eyes.

Glycerin is a well-known, 100% biobased skin humectant manufactured from European oilseeds.
